Hi,

I just fitted the quick uk tail grips on my logo 600 and I noticed that, when the tail sleeve is stucked on the tail shaft bearing, the tail grip can be blocked on the extrem position and can not return on the normal position.

Have you noticed the same phenomen on your logos ?

Normal position, tail sleeve is placed on the tail shaft bearing

Extreme and dangerous position

Yup, just make sure to set your tr throw limit towards boom so it does not over cam and you'll be perfectly fine.

From inside going out:

Logo L tail pitch slider
T-rex 600 brass thing (cut down since it has quite long collar)
Logo Ring-with ball (whats it called)
T-rex 600 Metal Fork
Logo Link-arms for the tail (from fork to bladegrips)
QuickUK or Align metal hub with balls on the grips (regular mikado metal balls)

I noticed it with mine using the Trex 600 tail grips and hub. I just put a washer in between so that it wont overextend.

Thanks Mel!

So to do this all I need is the T600 tail pitch assembly. Correct?

One note to this, depending how much you cut off the collar, and if you run max inward to the hub, the fork might hit the pitch lever holder, so dont run more then it clears that.

(aint gonna hit in flight unless you have those blurr piros anyway)

Turns out that Align people has changed their spec on the tail fork, as well as material, so it wont fit directly on the Logo shaft, sorry for this, I didnt know.

You need to sand out to make it fit, and to make things worse they changed the brass part to alu, which makes it harder to sand.

(sitting and sanding my own for my new L700)

They even changed the threads so their own older brass pipe does not fit in the fork either...

Sorry for that, but its doable with a little 320 grit sandpaper at least.

That's a shame. Mine just arived in the mail and yep it's aluminium. It was worth a shot .

I think the easiest way is to place a washer or bush on the shaft to mechanicaly minimise travel as mentioned by Vic RC.
