Eagle Tree 100A or 150A? for 12S 5000Mah
Bout to get the Eagle Tree Logger.
Running 12S 5000Mah... on Stretch Trex600:700

Will the 100Amp ELogger suffice? or should I get the 150Amp Elogger.

I am guessing the 100amp should be fine.. If I end up pulling more then that I think I may have other problems!

When i asked about average Amp-draw on a 710mm Blade Maschine, people were talking about the heli hovering inbetween 16-20Amps, so i think 100Amps schould be enough...

Yeah.. thats my understanding also..
Im good to go with the 100Amp..

I was just looking at the amps on the chart that Hogster has posted on the thread about his new logo build..

The new Elogger looks sweet with the OSD!

The 100A really is ample ....

I'm drawing around 19A hovering with no wind ... haven't measured how much current is required to stop a quick descent, or to climb quickly, but I doubt it would be more than 30A or so ...

I haven't exceeded 39A with my stretched 12S beast - that was max climb with camera. Hover is around 20A.Pete, Trex500, Trex600E, Streched 600, DSX9, DX7, Low-volt alarms - check the gallery for my alarms

I peaked the 100A micrologger at 113A without problem on my 3D bird.
100A is more than enough for AP.
