The stock tail on v4 holds better than the v3.6 without torque compensation for me on my Trex 600. In fast sloppy tic-tocs the tail used to wiggle, but no more after upgrading.

It holds good, only thing I have found just recently being able to fly and test more is that the Jive esc brings in a tic on hard collective punchouts and poppy moves. WOrking on some settings to minimize or delete the small visual tick all together...

What ESC you have currently Anthony?

...Once upon a time there were Nitros, flybars and frequency pins...

Tail on v4.0 is more "general", so changing a few numbers wont affect (in the bad direction) as much as in 3.16.

Big difference is that if you dont want to tweak yourself, you can activate the tail optimizer, and it will do it for you

Just like having a very very little guy onboard with a big wrench

I feel the tail holds great. However I like the feel of the 3.16 tail better when it comes to quick direction changes. It stopped and started crisper.I began to adjust the acceleration which helped but still not the same. I'm going to keep on tweaking...

Higher Acceleration,
Higher P
Higher Gain
Higher I

to get same "crispy" feel as 3.16

Note: I can be quite alot higher then before, I run 70 on my L600, L700, T-rex 700

Also, common gain can be a little higher
