I always thought putting my name, address, phone number SS number, etc. would be a good idea to have on my heli. I would obviously want to get it back if it flew away and crashed.

However... maybe I wouldn't want it back if it ended up embedded in somoenes ferrari.

why did you laugh about that?

I've seen pictures of bird strikes on the nose of aircraft where the bird went though the instrument panel and into the cockpit. You don't think that would be a problem on approach?
