Hey everybody. Well I have decided to get back into the hobby. Its been about 3 years since my hands were on my 600 and now ready again.

I had a 450 and a 600, and really dont want a big heli again. I have been looking at that 250 and does look pretty sweet, but i am afraid that it wont be as solid as my 450 i had. Money is always a issue, so thats like i like the 250 idea so much.

I can do some mild 3d and i fly in mostly small areas. I guess i just want something i can fly in my backyard or where ever and hit it up.

So i guess it comes down to is a new 250 or a used 450.

Whata think?? Any input would be helpful. THANKS!

Go with 250.you won't regret it!.cheap parts, blades hardly brakes in crashes and one more thing, alot of feathering shafts.I wish align would make 2 more set of main grips spacers(washers)instead of 1 set for 2 feathering shaft in a bag!.thats the only down side of 250.

The 250 is nothing like a 450, I wouldn't ever go to a 250 over a 450!
If you can see a little 250 fly!!
And then think about some wind!
Also, you can only see it about 1/3rd as far out!!

The 250 is nice like mentioned, it is a different class of heli than a 450. Most will say you cannot get a 250 as stable as a 450. I dissagree...my 250 is just as stable as my 450 v2 as long as winds are not present. The crashes seem to be a little cheaper than my 450 crashes but I crash the 250 more. Almost 2 to 1.

I have both and if I had to give up one it would be the 250.

For your yard...

I much prefer my 250. There's just not enough room for a 450.

My $.02.

The 250 is for back yard flying, if that is what you are going to do then get the 250!

u said u could do mild 3d, so flying the 450 in a your front or backyard shouldn't be a problem, it is rly fast. I just figured out how easy it is to do 3d in a small space w/ a 450, it was easy, and more fun! It is rly the perfect size heli, its stable and not effect by the wind alot, easily seen, and easier to fly then any 250, but small enough to fly anywere!

The back yard in my video is a little too small for 450 3D flying, now I can hover and do some flips back there, but it is pretty tight for learning new stuff. If you have a bigger back yard, or if you have one with no trees then a 450 is fine for backyard flying. I would say half to three quarters of an acre?
