I just got some ball links made by quick UK. I snapped one on a spare ball and they are a little loose. The stock Align ones are certainly a more snug fit where these Quick UK ones have a little slop.
I can't put these on my Heli....It would be a downgrade.
I thought they would be a little small and I would have to size them. Then I could make them as snug as I see fit.
However it is too late, they are already to big.
What a disappointment.

It is for a Trex600E.
I have to use their balls. What a kick in the nuts!
That might be more trouble than it's worth.
Thanks for the info.

Get the Rocket links. They are great. Nice fit with no resizing needed in my case and can be put on both side so you can get half turn adjustments.

+1 for Rocket City links

If the wings are traveling faster than the fuselage, it's probably a helicopter.

are you sure that the balls are ok?
as the align ones wear out very quickly

Yea, but if he just bought the links then he would have to buy all new balls which can be expensive especially if they are QuickUK balls. Heliproz has the Rocket City links.

Edit: Oh i see you meant to use the Quick UK on the existing Align balls and see if that ball was the problem. I just put the Quick UK tail set on my 600 and the links did fit the existing Align balls, but they fit the provided Quick balls better. As Payne said though, check the Align balls and see if that is the issue.

you miss understand me
the quick uk links fit on the std hirobo/thunder tiger balls
if the old ball is worn then the link will be a sloppy fit
and it doesn't matter what make of link you put on them

as i'm typing i've just tried a quick link on a hirobo ball (ok)
thunder tiger (ok)
k&s (ok)
and an align ball (not so good)
the align ball is slightly smaller than the hirobo, k&s, thunder tiger balls
thats why their not such a good fit

you either want the align links
or another make of ball

edit
untill now i've never used a 600 ball on a quick link
and all the balls i tried were new except the hirobo one

No the Align Balls are not worn, just a little smaller than most brands. Like someone said it makes for a sloppy fit.

I was able to buy these in florescent yellow and thought they would look nice on my bird. I don't want to change the balls so I guess I'll just leave well enough alone.

I just "assumed" these Quick UK links would be like the Rocket City ones where you have to size them yourself. I was wrong.

Thanks to everyone for their help.
