guys,
I am looking for an Edge, Yack or Katana for a 180 4stroker, the span must be 77 inches or more,, this plane is wanted for basic acrobatics,,

I have found only 2 in the span of 77 inches but I'm not happy with them,, the Pacific Aeromodel's Katana needs to much lead in the nose and the other I found is sold under the Chief Aircraft name,,

anyone know of any others ??

thanks Guys !!

The Great Planes Cap is really light and flies well. I have an OS 1.60 2 stroke on mine. So your 1.8 four stroker oughta work well.

If you skip me I can't play!

bmw,, Wingspan: 67" (1700mm)

that's 10 inches to short, that's a 60 size plane

rander1,, the Funtana 90 is not sold any more, and it too, woth a span of 69, it's to small..

Rono,, I have seen the Great Planes Cap (on the net) I will have to look into it again..

Aeroworks 90-120 size YAK. A few guys are running the 180 saito with GREAT results. It actually balances very well with a lightened backplate. UNLIMITED verticle performance.

http://www.aero-works.net/store/detail.aspx?ID=288

I just put one together with a super tigre 2300 and it is a monster and still relatively small.

Just notices you want a 77in wingspan, the aeroworks is only 72 but might work for you.

The hangar 9 Extra 260 is a really nice ARF, 499 free shipping most places, and has a 78 inch 2 piece wing/stab. I'm looking HARD at it right now because a saito 1.80 fell into my lap. Good luck in your search!

Extreme flight yak. I believe they have one in that size.

I had the 50cc. Was a joy to fly.

Mike

Just looked, they list it for that size motor, but the span is 6 in short of what you wanted. I would not let that stop me if I were getting one that size.

another one i just found was the Seagull Extra 260. It's $250, but you have to settle with a 71" wing. I heard seagull is still made by horizon, and quality hasn't been an issue in the reviews.

Here's another one for you: http://www.greatplanes.com/performa...s/gpma1414.html

78" one piece wing and even comes with a spinner. Not too bad!
