Battery sizing for Falcon 400???What is C rating???
I have asked this before, but now that I have purchased a bigger battery, I am not so sure I have a complete understanding of all of the specs on a battery.

First....what does the C rating mean?

Second...mah is refering to capacity right?

Now, I bought a 11.1v 2200mah 18c battery for my falcon. Normally the falcon has a 11.1v 1300mah C rating unknown. I was told that with more mah I would be able to fly a little longer.

What has happened is the head speed seems to be about 50% greater at halfstick. The volts are the same so I thought that nothing should change. The only thing I am unsure about is the C rating.

Does anyone know the C rating of the art tech batteries?

If the original battery has a smaller C rating would this explain the higher head speed?

I suggested you to get a larger batt pack.

11.1 volts-2200mah-18C
2200milliamps=2.2amps
2.2ampsx18=39.6amps continuous discharge.
39.6amps is what you can draw continuously without damaging your batt pack.
The larger the mah. and higher the C rate= more power, If your system can use it.

Edit: Mah. is the capacity.
