Hi Guys

I did about 5 autos with my 250 a few days ago!!!!

I was scared there would be no hang time.....

There was a nice 15 mph wind blowing and the grass was about 5 to 8 inches thick. Perfect to reduce the crash!!!!!

The little thing fell like a stone with almost no penetration into the 15 mph wind...... no big surprise...

Gave a little flare and fed in some pitch. Everything stopped at about 6 to 12 inches above the ground and 'plopped' into the longish grass.

Cool party trick !!!!!

Regards
Paul

Hi Guys

I did the autos from real high......did about 4 or 5. One was a bail out at about 10 foot. It was going to land short into the buggy track. Those nasty buggies would have 'eaten up' my little 250 baby.

George, thanks for the back up.....

Regards
Paul

Hi guys

For info, there was only about a 5 mph wind blowing which made bleeding of the forward speed an issue. The grass at our Sharjah field is nicely mowed.....not 8".......

Hi S76 Mech

Yea, last time i auto'ed the T250 was in about 15mph wind and it was MUCH easier.....

The flare was small, the right yaw was almost zero and the forward speed came off easily.

I think i need to practice a bit, maybe a much more aggresses flare will work better.

Regards
Paul

PS:beeflyer2, the are Align carbon 205d blades. The tapered black and white ones,

Nice Autos Paul.

No one believes you until you get video. I have done them too but haven't been able to get someone to video them (haven't been to the flying field in ages).

A good wind really helps!
