I am thinking of getting the 700n but cannot make a decision on what gyro to run, 611, or spartan.

Between those two the Spartan if you can find it. Better performance and much smaller.

Spartan, or if you like more cables and no setup with laptop a Futaba 611

Spartan with new software works great.

Cant give opinion about the GY520 sofar.

Min-G or Solid-G, I cant help but get in on things when people only recommend what they have.

List of GOOD gyros, you pic your price range. In no particular order

Mini-G
Solid-G
Futaba 520
611
Spartan

All of these work with the 9256 0r bls 251 or Jr 8900
ANY one of these will outfly ANY of us on these forums. ALL are easy to set-up.

+3 for Spartan.

Had a Solid-G. Hated it. Replaced with a Spartan, perfect now.

I totally agree. I like what I like but that doesn't make it the best. All the gyros listed are good ones or they wouldn't be for sale. I didn't think that a mini g would hold a 90 size heli. someone let me know here or a pm how well they work on a 90 size. I am wondering before buying.

I can garuantee the Mini-G is enough for a 90. I have one on of my N9s And it holds every bit as solid and locked in as the Solid-g on my 700 or other N9. I have tried all of them except the JR770. Even a properly set up 401 is enough for a 90.

Just saw that..LMAO

A 401 will hold for flight but hard bawards flying and hard 3d it can't hold. I run a 611 and it holds fine. How would the mini g compair?
