Mini-G Gain
Hello Guys!
I would like to know how much gain are you using with the Mini-G for nitro helis!

I've installed the gyro with the metal plate...
Runing 100% of gain and still no tail wags.

The gyro performs very good and I was thinking if I remove the metal plate (It will help me to improve the CG and reduce about 60 grams), could I have similar performances since the gain is at the higest values?.
Anyone used the gyro without the metal plate on nitro machines?
Thanks in advance
BTW. My heli is a AS TYPE II, 620mm red devils, 2000rpm, 95mm sabs tail blades.

Hey, Inkspot1967

I'm running the mini-g on my 700 FBL as well. Still bumping up the gain as I go but weather has been horrible so not much flight time..only 4 so far. The gain is up to 90% and still no wag but I'm noticing that the mini-g is a bit soft around center. Very much like using expo but I'm not. You can see it on the bench easily that its slower around center then at the end points. I've tried two different servos on the bench and observed the same behavior. Just curious if you noticed the same thing. But other than this I can't get over how smooth this gyro is so far.

The minig defaults to 40% expo on the unit. If you want it more responsive in the middle just go into the parameters menu and drop the expo to your liking.

Very cool, thanks for the info. I was hoping there was an internal expo setting. Just have to wait for my g-view to arrive in a few days.

the g-view is very nice for setting up the mini g. I have the gain at 70 on my rave and it holds better than anything I have seen before(besides the solid g)
