If you are running brushless what kind of pinion are you running and how's it working?

I'm running a century 4100kv motor and just switched out the 8 tooth pinion and installed the 11 tooth. Runs hotter but so far I think I like it!

EDIT: turns out the 11t was too much for my old tired TP1320s. It killed them! Got 3 30c Zippy 1350s and a 9 and 10t pinion coming. . .

Sure would like to hear about your experiences. . . .

I got mine from tower hobbies. They have set screws with them....no more messing with a pinion press. They are HPI RS4 pinion. Just make sure your motor has a 2mm diameter shaft.

Boomer, what kind of batteries and motor are you using with your 10t pinion and how hot is your motor getting? Do you know amp draw?

Using e-Flite 370 brushless 4100kv.Tp 900 mah batteries.Think they are rated at 10-12C/16C Burst. They are old batteries.......approx:3-4 years old.Have an Outrage 30C on order........should wake it up!!!Motor is very warm after about 10-12 min flight.Dont know actual temp or the amp draw.Am running a C.C. 25 amp Esc for main motor.

11T is too much and kills the tail motors faster. 9 and 10t make the tail motor last longer.

I have been using 9 tooth pinions for quite a while now. I like the combination of longer flight times without much sacrifice on flight characteristics.

I not doing mad 3D so the headspeed is more than enough for the loops, rolls, and normal inverted flight that I am currently doing...
