Hi I just build a benzin a couple of months ago, my kit came with a carbon fibre servo tray.

If you are from the USA get in touch with Joe at http://www.eastcoastvario.com/

or Daniel in Canada at http://www.variocanada.com/

The only time i have seen the tray flex is if you have too much travel in the servo, and its close to binding. Especially since its a real hard plywood, you must have too much travel.

I've not had a problem with the tray on the 8301 kit as of yet either. Are you refering to the large 8300 tray or the 8301 tray?

I built mine by first putting it together with Ca at the joints then coating it in Z-poxy. It is pretty rigid.

I've also had no problems with any of the Vario wooden servo trays (or the plastic one). The trick is to make sure there is no binding at all, but this is just standard good heli building practice anyway.
