Is there a US distributor? If you import it from Europe the US price is crazy high due to the exchange rate.

How do they compare in performance to the SK360 and V-Bar?

The 9000 allows you to have a 3D "trainer" mode. You can take your hands off the sticks whether inverted or right side up and the heli will right itself and hover until you touch the sticks again.......Ron

All this discussion about features and beginners modes but no one has commented on how it flies. Has anyone actually tried to fly hard 3D with this gyro and compared it to other gyros?

Yes, elektrorc is the US distrib.

I have the 700 on my Protos so far I'm quite impressed.

This is my first flybarless setup, so I can't compare to others. It was a little getting used to configuring settings vs installing the flybar, and it took a few flights to tweak the numbers to get the crisp cyclic I was used to.

Tail holds rock solid, there are a few vids available of hard 3D so you can see it is very capable.

Yes not only does it have 3 gyros, but it has 3 accelerometers.

If I get time, I'll put up a config guide. It wasn't that tough to setup, but the numbers that one particular model would use is could be totally different than another, size, servos, etc...

Thanks, that would be good.

Does it hold steady during high-speed pirouettes?

Swashplate Support?
I downloaded the manual and was looking through to see how my setup would be but did not find anything that looked like it would work. My Raptor E620 has options for 90 degree (3 servo) and 140 degree eCCPM but it looks like GyroBot does not support any of these options? That means that you can’t use it with any Thunder Tiger and most JR helicopters?

Did I miss something or what?

Stop F*ing around Ron and buy one :)
I know you want a gyrobot....buy one now

I am going to get one for my Roxxter shortly

yes...mechanical(MCCPM) is what you typically think of as (90 degree 1 Servo setup)

Used on Raptors...

BTW..the VIBE 50 can easily be run on 120 degree CCPM so it's not an issue

Used on Raptors...
I was talking about the Raptor E-series. They are all eCCPM and not mCCPM. The E550 and E620 both come standard with 90-degree eCCPM and the nitro Raptors come standard with 90-degree mCCPM also known as mechanical mixing. The E-series does not have a mechanical mixing option.

The only other option foe the E-series is a 140 degree eCCPM swashplate conversion.

My SK-360 supports all these swashplate types. It just takes a little more firmware – I just can’t believe that they left out those options.

I sure with the ProBar was available.
