Bummer, at least it doesn't look too bad. The only major part is the gyro.

Take Care,
Cheers, Patrick

Gyro mounting
When you get the new gyro, mount it upside down under the boom clamp. There is a kit out there you can buy but just do a search here on RR and you will see what I am talking about. Sucks taking out a gyro when it could have been avoided. Sorry about your crash.

I have a 450 that I have crashed at least 20 times (no exaggeration).

The damage typically looks similar to your other then I have been lucky with the Gyro. I attribute the luck to the under boom mounting instead of on top.

Am I confusing another Gyro, or can you get replacement cases for the 401? Do the guts look damaged or just case busted apart?

Are you shure the gyro is bad ?. I busted mine pretty bad, ripped the case off, but it still worked so taped the case on and flew for months.

I think about the hereafter. I go somewhere to get something, then wonder what I'm here after ?
