Hi Guys.

I´m the one flying in the video and I can inform you that it is very real!
Its over a year old now I think, but it was a nice evening until this happed.
We were only 2 on the flying field that evening and the weather was perfect.

First of all I have talked to the pilot of the Full-size aircraft and we are good friends today no problems there.
The airfield is a small private strip and if you want to land there you have to fly overhead the clubhouse revving you engine up and down.
A published procedure that gives us RC pilots some time to land and get out of the way.(it is primarily a RC flying field!)
Unfortunately this pilot did not know that. So he just joined the Base leg for a touch and go.
So when we were flying we had no idea he was coming. And if you see in the video I’m pulling up and away when I hear something coming.
First I think it’s a Tractor. Because they are a common site on the nearby fields. But then the Aircraft comes flying past us and I know that was
quite lucky I pulled up to see what it was!

I´m a commercial pilot myself and I know that the pilot in the aircraft was a lot more scared than me standing on the ground.
He later told me that he saw the heli on short final to the runway but had no chance of avoiding it. So he throttled up and hoped that I would heard him coming and pulled away. And that is what I did. He was very relieved when he saw the heli pulling up and away !

This story got out to all the private pilots in Denmark so hopefully this was a onetime event

And yes. I did continue to bang the Heli, even thou I was a bit shaky on the sticks after that.
Don´t let anything mess up a good T-REX flight right?
I also got the camera man to look after the airplane to make sure he wasn’t coming back for a new approach!

I'm a private pilot. It may be a cool video, but the pilot in the plane shouldn't be there. Of course on a private field, it doesn't matter unless he gets caught.....like someone shooting a video like this and the registration of the plane is reported to the FAA. The pilot will loose his licence!!!!

Cool video though

Didn't notice the country this was shot in until after my post. Different country, different rules. In America, although this does happen, if you're caught, you're grounded...

Yes in Denmark it is legal to land at a private airstrip.
So nothing wrong with that as long as the strip is a valid airstrip and this one is.
But the procedures should always be followed and that is what´s wrong here.

Hell you think thats a f*ck up by a scale pilot? I was damn near hit in freefall two weekends ago by some twin prop POS!!! F*cker had to turn to miss us... dumb ass said he was traveling west but apparently couldn't read a compass and was actually heading south right at us. Man I wish I had my camera helmet on that jump!
