Your best bet may be to find some good used Futaba 9252 servos. I just saw some for sale on here recently. Just keep looking on here or post a Wanted ad.

Good luck.

Futaba S3050's are an often overlooked servo. Not they're not the fastest, but you don't necessarily need a fast servo fly 3d flying.

Check out the specs.

My best recommendation is to spend your money on a well known and reputable brand. There is no "specification police" that step in and keep the manufacturers inline with what they claim for speed and torque. Staying with a reputable brand, and you get the quality you pay for.

If you are going to start 3D flying don't mess with cheep servos. You
will most likely have a servo malfunction,I my self have had that problem with cheep servos and I will not do that again. So spend a little more money and get the better servo you will feel better for it
and more positive about it.

I'm no expert but my "budget servo" failure cost me more in repairs than the price of good servos would have in the first place. I will never buy/install cheap servos again - there are just too many expensive bits "hanging off of" your servos to risk a failure.

heres a great servo for a great price. plenty of power for 3d. you dont have to spend alot sometimes. just knowing what you need is good enough. i tend to over buy for the best even though i dont do 3d. these servos should be more then what your after

I have had good aerobatic flights with Hitec HS635's. I'd recommend spending a little extra for the collective servo but it's not needed, especially for sport flying at all. I would also look at the new Hitec HS5485's

I would find out if you can get replacement gears for the HS-5485HS before buying it.

I have not tried them but their other products have been good quality...

Their servos look good on paper... Digital, progamable and cost like $40 or less

Also don't forget the Align Ds610\620s

It costs 180$ for 3 and they have the power to shake 90 sizes. They are definately buy&forget for a 50 size.

I have the hyperions on my e550. DS20 FMD on cyclic, DS20 GMD on tail Less than 20 flights on it though.

Good luck so far w/ the Hyperions on my 450 but I have less than 50 flights on them. One 450 is all Hyperion, 2 others have them only on the tail.

Before buying the, I looked around and did not find any bad press on them.
