It's been 5 months since the last word of a carry case for the Rave. Who's using what now? And what's the status of the "official" Rave carry case?

That's some funny stuff. Yeah, I guess we do. If crap would turn around 4 me, I would like another one setup just for 4s.

Thanks inkspot1967, I think Curtis has so many irons in the fire he doesn't know what to release first. I will be waiting anxiously.

For us poor souls that only have one Rave; it would be nice if there were foam inserts to fill up the empty spot, or maybe a place to put part and batteries.

I am thinking of making some heli carrying cases to sell. I made one for my Rave first. I found some better hardware (latches and handles) online. This is just what I found at Home Depot. I am going to add a place on the bottom for spare parts storage. This way, each heli will have its own case with parts included. A small, removable box for hardware and parts, along with a place inside to hold blades, tail boom, and flybar. I've spoken with a manufacture about producing, and it looks like it shouldn't be a probem. This works great for transporting and storage, but I wouldn't put it on an airplane unless it is a carry on.

You may have a whole new product line here. Should be economical yet functional. Add a little customizing and there you go... Like you said it's not luggage but would work nicely for carrying it to and from the field. Keep us posted.

Inkspot, you are the MAN! Now that you fixed the head and tail, I have been pushing my flying past my skill level. It tracks perfect. It is so fun to throw around.

As far as the cases go, I hope everyone will give me some ideas of what they would like to see. I am considering on my larger cases making the box taper with the tail. So they would look kind of like a mummy coffin. But on the bigger boxes, it would still allow enough room for a transmitter, parts, and batteries if you wanted.

Probably not. I just had a set of twin boys back on Feb. 26th. I'm not sure how much I can talk the wife into before I get kicked to the curb
I will definately make the one in Houston in June. But I heard the one in LA is awesome. Maybe I can go if I can find someone to carpool with. Let me know if anyone is up for that.
