Cool Joel. Obviously unless my wife drags me to Boston, there isn't a chance of me making it. But I will be there in thought with a big plate of chicken wings for ya. Hot or mild?

Looking forward to being there Joel!

If I bring 4 helis, that should mean 18 main rotor blades (maybe 21 blade if I "upgrade" the last one!)

Could you please provide more info on the charging stations?
Does this mean there will be 12V and / or 110volt outlets availible?

Sandy,

From what I understand, the charging stations supply 12V DC only. The 12V is supplied by a large array of high capacity batteries. I haven't seen them yet, but as soon as I do, I'll give you a full report. From what I recall of the description, it was perfectly adequate for charging large LiPo's like you and I are using.

Gary, I'm sure it will be tremendously helpful if you bring your generator. I don't think we can have too much power available.

Sounding Good....
I have been talking to some of the "local" fliers around my area and it seems that they have some interest in coming out..... sounds like it is going to be a good day...... Come On Spring!!!!
With so many new fuselages made heli specific, there must be a LARGE gang of new scalers that will enjoy this event....can't wait!!!!!

Joel, I should have the "new" look on the Vertol by then, and you know that it has to be there!!!!!
Adam, can I help you clean your heli at the NATS??? (I will bring the lacquer thinner!!!! Oh, I meant to say Windex!!! )

Did anyone else notice that the NATS are ONLY 86 days away and 122 days for IRCHA!!!!!???????

This event is going to be a great "primer" for the scale portion of IRCHA this year.... they liked our presentation so much last year that they are doing the same (maybe even bigger!!) this year, so the scale entries will again have their own tented area and the flying is right in front of the tent in a protected area right on the main flight line, just right of SHOW CENTER!!!... it doesn't get any better then this!!!!!
So lets get these birds ready on June 14th and pack the van's for IRCHA the following month..... (no hijack intended Joel!!!)
(actually, this was an unsolicited "BUMP":eek

Stan

Now if we could find someplace in eastern to mid NY to put one on that would just about fill in every weekend during the summer!!!!

Stan,

Thank you for helping spread the word. The more people who attend, the better for all of us.

I look forward to seeing you and the Chinook soon.

Hi folks,

When you have a chance, help promote this event by posting your scale helis at the link below. Don't let my little e-Flite mCX turn them off
