I need a source of sectional drawings for the Sikorsky H-19 (also known as S-55) Chickasaw. I found these outlines but they won't help much to build a scale. Scale electric using Razor 600E. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks Paul

I think about the hereafter. I go somewhere to get something, then wonder what I'm here after ?

Not sure if this will help, but it looks like you can get the blueprints for those helicopters. http://www.the-blueprints.com/search/sikorsky/

Take Care,

I have the Aeromodeller and Aviation News drawings. These show all variants with cross sections. I have shown the HAR 9 as it was easiest to access but it shows what the drawings are like.

PERFECT. The WIRLWIND is close enough variant of the Chickasaw that I can use the drawing you supplied.
I tried looking up Aeromodeller and Aviation News
but could not find the exact name. If you have a link it would be appreciated. If not, I can use the drawing you supplied.
EDIT: After studying the drawings and comparing to a detailed small plastic model I have, the only significant diff is the nose section which I can easily scale off the small plastic model.
Many thanks

Paul

If you check this link you will find all the scale drawings of the S55/Whirlwind that I have found. You should be able to get what you need to build any variant.

Wow, thanks. That's exactly the info I need. Next step is to clean my shop so I can have enough room to start.

I have posted an article with colour scheme drawings on Photobucket. You will see what I meant about the colours of Whirlwinds.
