In my experience with the Solid-G (since the day they were released and owning 4 of them from first version to latest) it is very tolerant of high gain. I have gone as high as 90 with no wag. I have found the best compromise on the 700 to be 68. I run my Synergy a bit lower because the tail is ALOT more efficient (around 60). Play with the gain, take it up and feel how solid it feels.

It will do that on the bench after set up. What are your end points on your rudder channel?? I have found that anything over 100 and the piro rate is FAST. I run mine around 85.

Yup, especially if you bump the heli or move any sticks. Its just trying to stop movement and will conitue until it thinks th heli has stopped.

I will post you when I get home and check. What troubles are you having? you can reset the solid-g if you need to and start over if your having difficulties.

Are you able to set your center correctly? Or just having problems with left right? Do redo setting you need to go through the entire set up again

Is this on the bench or in flight. If its on the bench its normal for the servo to move fast L/R. As long as its not binding you will be fine. You really need to fly it and do a few piros and adjust your rudder channel endpoints to slow down or speed up the piro.

Set your Gain around 55. Good figure that will get your going with about being too much or too little. Work from their.

The Solid-G behaves strange on the bench but I assure you it is SOLID in the air. Let me know how it flies and we can work from there.

Solid-g with bls 251.

Gain- 45%
limit- physically max out
dual rate- 95%
expo- 60%

The futaba gyros are tame around center, the logictech was fast around center, the solid-g is Super sensitive around center. The expo helps me a lot.

Increasing the gain a little improves the piro consistency on the 700N.

If the left right piro rate is too fast, just bring down the dual rate and add a little expo to reduce the sensitivity ard center. Do note that the servo movement on the bench is not how the servo will behave in the air, so you really need to fly the thing to set the dual rate and expo. You don't adjust anything to make the servo appear to be working right on the bench. You adjust the rates to make the gyro piro in flight according to the speed you want.

The servo "jumping" occasionally on the bench is normal.
