Hi,

Has anyone had issues with the stock (plastic) main hubs? I have tried two new ones and on both there is sideways movement (wobble) when fitted. I had hoped they would be fairly solid.

I'm sure that when I hold the blade grips and check for movement, it should only be on the dampers!!

Thoughts anyone??????????

Thanks.

Any hubs i ever fitted i run a drop of thin zap into it to take up any slack there was in it and the main shaft. Usually they were a nice push on fit and the seemed to run dead true to the eye. Your main shaft isnt bent by any chance or is there just too much clearance between the main shaft and the hole in the hub?

If it doesnt move and its meant too... use WD 40. If it moves and its not meant too...use duct tape!

Which is why it is most desireable to upgrade to a metal main rotor head/hub. Even when new and with good fitment, it will not last long before you see what you are descibing.

Make sure your main shaft isn't up side down, there realy should not
be any move ment. And are you using factory Raptor parts, also check your main bearings.
