I sold a Hirobo Shuttle on Ebay last week. Here is the auction http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...em=300301405807 Despite being laid up with mono, I got it out to him ASAP. For shipping, I removed the boom and the main shaft. When he got it yesterday, he immediately wanted to ship it back and wanted a refund since I had disassembled it. If any of you have ever worked on a shuttle, it takes 4 bolts to put boom back on and 1 bolt to place the main shaft back in place. He said he didn't have the time.
After I wouldn't refund him for that, he put in a dispute with paypal stating there are missing parts. which there aren't, and now he's telling me that I mislead him because I wrote that there's a "gyro 500" Well in the auction it states exactly what kind of gyro comes with it and in the heading it says 500, then gyro and the 500 stands for the size of blades on a 30 heli.
So if any of you know Tony or he tries to buy stuff from you, I'd remove his bids.

Your auction is pretty clear to me....

"-JR NEJ 720A Gyro".

As for disassembling, I have bought a dozen or more helis online and never has one been sent assembled. This buyer obviously simply has 2nd thoughts about this purchase and it looking for anyway to get out of this deal.

I agree with everyone so far. I have never seen a heli shipped without the tail being removed. As far as Paypal, no worries. Those money grubbing A-holes will side with you because if they don't THEY LOSE their money from the transaction and I have never seen this happen before. Greed is an awful disease... Plus Ebay is Paypal's landlord!

Be sure to forward al the emails between you to paypal and any pictures you have of the heli. I take pictures of them disassembled in the box just before I ship too.

Sounds like you sold to a fool that doesn't know anything about RC helicopters. He didn't know what he was getting into and now wants out.
What a piece of crap.

Oh I don't intend to back down, it's just ridiculous that I have a 400 paypal score and they freeze my account. Well its negative now, that's what is ridiculous. And with my long history with paypal, they should have a rep on the situation immediately, and the other thing that sucks is it wont let me add more info to my side of the dispute so I keep emailing paypal telling them I have a ton more info. I hate guys like this. The funny thing is, 2 days after he won the auction, the day I shipped it, he emailed me and said if I hadn't shipped it yet, no biggie, he would just take a refund, so I'm thinking he bid and then after he won was wondering what he got himself into, but at the same time he said he had been shipped a raptor before and was all upset because his raptor came in fully assembled, I told him that I apologize but I prefer to make sure my stuff arrives undamaged

Ya, I'm building my feedback on here as I just joined but have already had some great transactions including buying 2 diff. helis at over a grand a piece and have sold some small electronics.
Thing is my ebay score is almost 300 and his ebay score is over 100 both 100% positive feedback

As far as US Postal Money Orders? Forget About It. Got scammed a few times a few years ago with those and followed up but USPS never did anything and I never got my money back. Look at all the posts on RR regarding that James Moore guy scamming everyone with US postal Money Orders.

Paypal has had my back every time theres been a problem. My score on paypal is close to 400, I just wish I'd get a little bit faster service with them seeing as I have a long and good record with them

Srimok, Goblin 770, Avant Aurora, Trex 700 Suzi Hans, 700 LE, 700 FBL, Trex 450 Dominator X2, HC500, and a crap ton of parts with no time to fly! :)

will eBay fall under the laws of a auction? When the hammer falls it's yours and no returns?

If the product is exactly as described the he has no recourse,

If he sends it back to you I would put up a very big fight to eBay about it, he knew what he was bidding on then gets it , tells you if you did not ship it yet to refund his money back, then he gets it. Then gives bad feedback!
It may take alot of time but I would fight ebay about that.

Please know story before judging.
Posters, please know both sides of the story before jumping to conclusions. Quicktoy's listing was misleading so he got his piece of junk back. Do not be fooled by the pictures. It is a piece of junk.

When he emailed me and said he was sick and will ship it in a day or 2, I said feel better. 3 days later when I didn't hear from him, I thought he didn't want to sell it which was fine with me. He then said it shipped already. It wasn't. It shipped 2 days after he said it did.

I went out of my way to work with him and he was impossible. I had no intention to leave him negative feedback even after I paid $28 to ship it back only to find out he went on a slandering streak with WARNINGS all over the internet about my ebay ID and my business.

It is I who should warn people about this guy. He's every buyer/seller worst nightmare. He left another seller negative feedback over $2 transaction while his listing is full of lies and deception. Check out the listing and title.

Here's what a poster from Heli Freak said:

"A Shuttle uses 550 mm main blades. The gyro in the pictures on Ebay looks like an old JR 120. That is the mechanial gyro that has the spinning brass wheels. I don't see what your complaint is about.

David"

I can't Beleive Heli Freak and RunRyder allow such a behavior.

His title of the add was very misleading :
Hirobo Raptor Shuttle ZXX 30 Heli Helicopter RC OS 32
Z ZX Trex 600 Servos 500 Governor futaba JR Gyro Vibe

What the hell is a hirobo-raptor-shuttle????

Just say what it is seller, I hate people who try to mislead on their auctions!

This is a load of crap too:
You are looking at a Hirobo Shuttle ZXX. This wasHirobo's top of the line shuttle. I have a few of these and love them. I can't tell a difference between these and more expensive top of the line helis. It is more than capable of being flown from a beginner to a full 3D pilot. I bought this one to build for my Dad and he just doesn't have the time to fly it, so I'm selling it. It includes a ton of goodies.
You told several lies in your listing:

The shuttle gold followed by the RG version was their top of the line shuttles, not the zxx version,

If you cant tell the differance between that heli and a "top of the line heli" Then you have no clue about rc helicopters.

It is Not more then capiable of flying 3-d as you claim. It would not be able to hold up to the stress and the motor is way to small for any real 3-d flying.

It would be nice to see ads on here and ebay that were more honest about the item they were selling, I think that would avoid a lot of the problems like the one now between you two.

Which is worse, ignorance or apathy? I don't know and I don't care!

Ok to start off with, what exactly about my Hirobo Shuttle was a piece of junk? The motor if you took the time to look inside of it, was cherry, all servos worked perfectly and you got the ones described in the auction. The gyro works fine and you got the one described in the auction. The shuttle itself is in great shape. So what exactly was junk?

Yes I was very sick. I was in bed with mono for a few weeks, and thats why I profusely apologized to you for getting the package off late, even though you got it a week from when you won the auction, so what was the problem there?

You went out of your way to work with me? The first time you contacted me, you told me that you didnt have the time to put it together. I simply pulled the main shaft out and pulled the boom off. I told you it was a ten minute job to put it together and I had packaged it like that to protect it. That wasn't working with me, that was you deciding you didnt want it and coming up with an excuse. The you said I lied about what was in the auction and kept stateing that it didnt come with the 500 gyro that it state in the auction. There is no such thing as a 500 gyro. It simply said "Trex 600 500 gyro" so that people that typed those words in a search would get to my auction. In the auction it states exactly what gyro came with it. I never said it had a heading hold gyro. Then you told paypal it was missing parts. So three different excuses, thats not working with someone.

You should warn people about me? I left a guy negative feedback because his junk iphone case broke open as soon as I put my new iphone into it and my iphone hit the deck and I asked for an exchange and to send me a prepaid envelope to send the first one back and he wouldn't...So that makes me a HORRIBLE EBAYER??? Are you kidding. Hello my name is Earth, have we met?

I put 500 in the add not because of the size of blades the shuttle uses but because a "trex 500" is another helicopter. DUH!!!

And to CJAMES you pout as much info in the title to draw as many possible people to the add then you write in the add everything that comes with it.
I named it a Hirobo raptor shuttle because I had put a raptor body on it. Not to hard to figure out if your IQ is above 15. How is that misleading in any form???

As far as it being the top of the line shuttle it was. There was the Z, the ZX and the ZXX in the late 80s...and what do you mean it's not capable of 3D?? I have only been flying for 2 months and can do 3D maneuvers with it and I'm a newbie. I watch guys at my field with 30 sized helis doing hard 3D all the time. A 30 size heli is waaaay more than capable of doing 3D.. Ask anyone on here. SO how did I lie about that???

So I'm still trying to figure out where I lied. Everyone on here read the auction and said it was pretty fricken plain english to understand.. You my sir are someone not to do business with and so my post will stay and now since you called me a liar on a public forum does that mean I should threaten you with a lawsuit the way you threatened me with one??

i dont mean to chime in but i looked at the auction and it seems you got what was advertised, i understood why he put the stuff in the subtitle box, it was for search reasons, i do the same thing when i list and auction, i personally think this guy should be left alone, his heli was as advertised, the end, and the price you got it for seemed quite fair and the heli appeared to be in great shape so whats the prob????

If I were in the market for a T rex 600 on E bay and I typed that in and your ad came up I would be Just a Bit upset, E bay has a Specific ruling on Keywords and how they can be used. Anyway, when a customer has a Problem with an item, send a full refund with the return and move on, look at walmart
