I put a big bore kit on my 250 - she's now 351cc's of joy

Yesterday went for a nice ride around my town and the surrounding towns, and this MX track was one of the stops. It's in the middle of the woods near my house - it's our little secret spot

Anyways, tried a couple table tops for the first time.. This is stock suspension on a street legal bike.

nice bike....looks like your license plate took some beating...
I just started riding dirt bike seriously last fall..I only wish i would have started earlier then 35 years of age ....oh well. Just picked up a 07 kx 450f.....
Been up to the Sandboxarena.com in wisconsin this winter... great indoor track... love the bike...
I use to do the dual sport . Had a suzuki dr 650... what a hog... weighed like 370 lbs..... too much...i wish my kx 450 was street legal

Go green!!!

between the kx 450 and dr 650????
I would say the kx 450 is quicker.... and lighter...the dr 650 was really only good for the road.... if you laid it down in the trails... almost impossible to get it back up...
if i were looking into dual sporting again... the wr250 and wr 450 from yamaha are perfect.....

I love getting dirty, but I'm too chicken to do any jumps. Looks like fun.

The current 450s are badass.I had a 93 KLX650 and the new 450s would eat that thing.I rode every model 450 except the KTM last summer.I liked the RMZ the best.....I got the chance to ride a Service Honda CR500AF last summer as well. It's a worked 500cc two stroke in a 2008 CR250F frame($9300 complete).I tapped it out in the test field and I would guess it hit around 80-90mph with the gearing it had on.On the track you only needed 2nd and 3rd gear.It has tons of torque and the biggest thing is being smooth on acceleration. Also ,I found it harder to judge throttle needed to clear jumps. It's awesome to ride out through the pits on.Everybody perks up because it sounds so cool.I would still take a 450 because the power is more usable.

Turbo, how bout the big bore kit?

BTW,this is my crazy friend splitting lappers like it's a police chase.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M94U...re=channel_page
