All I can say is WOW, I started putting this thing together, I got the tail all done and man its nice, smooth like no other. I might be a little scared to fly it after its done. Im on a tight budget like everyone else in the world, so it will be forever before I get all the electrics for it, Oh well I have my Fury Expert to fly around till then. Min Air Rocks..............I think I want a Razor now to fit right in between the Fury and the Furion.

I am also building a furion, I finally got everything I need to finish it, just need to find time now. I need to finish the rotor-head, I can't wait to get that done.

I'm installing a castle creations phoenix60 esc and I was playing with the castle link and there is quite a bit of programming available, even lets you update the firmware in the esc.

Hey TJK, nice canopy. I see you already have the new futaba gyro. Any flight comments yet?

It's a complex, costly, glow powered anti-gravity machine!

Chopper Crazy
Thanks, I have had only got to fly one pack on the new gyro. It has been windy out everyday this past week. Today it was only 15 mph wind. So I haven't had the chance to really beat the hell out of it yet. Setup is very quick and easy to do. The piro rate is consistent unlike the 611. I hope they allow the user to adjust the piro stop rate via the usb interface.

For those of you interested, Miniature is coming out with a fiberglass, painted canopy for the Furion. Will come in 4-5 different color combinations and around $30! Should be available soon, real soon!

spindle(2) 5.49 - 2.75ea
main shaft(4) 13.99 - 3.50ea
tail shaft 5.99
or
Main/tail/spindle(2) 12.99 - 6.49ea shaft (crash pack)
tail boom(2) 11.99 - 6.00ea
belt 7.99
tail boom support 9.99
push rod 7.99
Some blades 20.00

So in an average crash if my math is right should cost around $60.

I just discovered they sell a pack with a boom, supports and pushrod together which would further reduce the cost.

Crash Cost
Trust me, we are not in this hobby to save money, 60 to 100 for a bad crash sounds about right.

I Agree go BIG or watch! Plus crashing any 450 is still way cheaper than crashing a .60 or a .90
