I just got my order in from QWW yesturday i got a set of 710 SAB's and a set of 110 sab's and my new tail links for my Bat pro 26cc, i ordered them on Monday and they got here yesturday thats what i call service. Have any of you tried this combo on a Bat 26cc? The blades look awesome and there wide and i like that they should hold up the 15 pound heli good. I have a set of 680 CMT blades that i will test the heli with before i put them on,how do you think the 680's will due for testing? I also have a set of 95mm MAH tails on it do you think they will be ok for testing? What headspeed do you think will be good for breakin of the 26cc? Also what headspeed for idleup while breakin or should i even go into idleup until its brokein? How do you tink the SAB's will fly? I had a set of 690 Radix on one of my helis until i tipped it over i never really got a chance to test them to see if i liked them. I'm going to see how i like the SAB's before i order another set of 690 or 710's.

Thanks for any input.

I'm running SAB 710's on mine. I'm just running the stock black plastic on the tail. I think they are 95's...not positive. For break in with a 13 tooth pinion you can run the headspeed at 1600 or so. I'm running 1650 or so in normal and around 1780 max in idle up. I feel that the 710's are the best suited for the gearing and engine on the 26cc.

How do you like the 710 SAB's? Can you see them good in the air? I did know what the gear ratio was on the bat but i forgot do you remember?

Thanks

It's 6.77:1 88 on the main and 13 on the pinion. No problem seeing the SABs in flight.

There is one thing that I have noticed about them......they do seem to have a little more vibration than my Go Quick 700's that I have ran. The blades balance perfectly and I do like the wide core.

They do run smooth.....just not as smooth as the more narrow cord blades. I really don't know if it's just mine or I'm just being anal about the whole deal... Put it like this....I'm not going to change mine if I can help it...

if your running the ei motor you might want to glue the magnet in with epoxy or jb weld first before you even start the motor up.

i hovered my brand new batt26 w/ei motor for maybe 3minutes and then the motor died and wouldnt restart.

i check the rear of the motor and the magnet was missing.

Well i can see how it would be esy for you guys because your magnet is not there, but how could i get my mag out to glue it back in? I hovered mine yesterday and the tail was bouncing back and forth i guess because of the very rich settings on the carb. I had to stop only after a few minutes as a bolt fell out the boom brace right at the horizontal fin. I thought i might have a problem with this but i tried it anyway,i put a short bolt in it when i was building it and stripped out the first few threads in the aluminum. I put a longer bolt in it last night and loaded it down with red locktite. I'm going to buy a new part and put the blue back on the bolts.

Thanks for the tip

Well i did not get to mess with my Bat today i'm teaching a guy to fly at our club and another guy came by with a blade 400 for me to work on. I hope to get to hover it somemore this week but i guess i will have to pull the pull start of and punch around my EI magnet to try to keep mine from coming out. You know it seems just when i'm ready to fly theres something else i have to do. I used four washers under my starter bolts to space it out, so why i have it off i might machine four bushings the same thickness as the washers. I don't have to but it would look better than washers piled up. I thought i could mount it flat up against the motor mount but i guess the EZ pull is a little different than the stock pull start.

Thanks for all the info
