This thing turns into a monster with the 16.

Collective management is always a good plan no matter how you fly.

I run mine with a 15 and satisfied with performance for the moment.

I'm sure others will chime in shortly.

I have one with a 15t and the other with the 16t.

The 15t one is "softer" in its flight characteristics.

The 16t is very crisp and quick to respond.

16t...
I used to fly the stock motor on 16t myself...and it is a BIG improvement over the 15t...

Flying relatively hard 3d I was getting 5 minutes with 100% throttle and 16t on 860mah packs...

I never tried the stock motor with the 15T. The 16T is really the way to go if you are doing 3D. If I was going to just sport fly the thing, then a 15T would make more sense.

I have the 16th pinion sitting in my parts box. Will this kill my stock align 850's? How about 16th on 100% TC with stock 205 plastics?

Nah!,Ive been flying the Align 850 packs with a 16 tooth since the beginning of December, was running 5 minutes, now down to 4.40 ,beacuse the level of 3d has increased.Packs hold up just fine....
