Hi There,
I have an issue with my trex 600 nsp. Just built.
As I bring the RPM up i get a tail shudder. Not rhythmic like with a tail wag ( I have seen wag caused by gyro issues on my raptor.
This is different. Every 2-3 seconds i get a shudder through the tail.
Engine seems to be running sweet. Has had three/four tanks through it.
Have managed to get airbourne half a dozen times but this shake makes me want to land!
ANy help out there?
Everything SEEMS tight. Was set up as per manual. This is my third build. Trex 450 and raptor 30 before this.....so not completly green.
Help!

Question, do you have training gear installed? Define shutter.

no training gear.
Shudder is a left to right sort of harsh wag.
Is running smooth in between then every 2-3 seconds a juddering wag.

As per anything, check balance of blades, paddles, shafts(can be bent straight out of the package). Also, a bent fan hub or out of balance fan and hub can create nasty shakes on the 600N frame(ask me how I know, lol) Shakes can be a pain, but just start from the head and work your way down. You may have to replace parts(or borrow friends parts like I did) to eliminate parts and see if the vibration changes or goes away.

Loose belt, striped tail gears, binding in the tail linkage/tail control arm. For something you described as intermittened it would seem to be something like the above mentioned.
