I just placed my order for my first Frenzy this morning. I've been on the fence but decided to give it a try. It was either this or another Pantera for knocking around. The head design, the Raptor style tail and the headblock sold me.

Wise choice. I have owned both. I would not buy another pantera even if I was offered one at the $100 1/2 off price but thats just me.

Well, it took a while but the Fed Ex Ground man delivered my Frenzy yesterday. I looked at it in the bags and just wasnt feeling the motivation to build but this morning found a little more energy and opened her up. I replaced the tail drive assembly as directed in the addendum. They provide a replacement tail drive unit with a metal upper bearing block and a little larger bearing. Then I threaded on the fan and bolted on the clutch. I was surprised to find the manual to be written in Engrish to the extent that it is. Fortunately, the pictures and quality of the printing are excellent!

I continued the Frenzy build last night. You could actually assemble the airframe in one evening. I installed the tail which is straight Raptor 50 style assembly, mounted the landing gear and now puting the head on. It's nearly falling together with the sub assemblies supplied so complete. Did we ever get and answer to the question about the head? Is it lubed or do I need to pull it apart?

Marty,

I would at the very least pull the spindle to grease the dampers and then locktite the spindle bolts. Mine did not have locktite on them.

Everything else I just check over to make sure nothing was loose.

I've never had that issue myself so no, this one won't either. It has the grub screw in the end of the tailshaft. There are a number of things you can do to keep the pin in place.
