Unfortunatly, with the Align pipe, the baffles break loose. It is a normal defect. Return it and get it replaced, or bite the bullet and buy a better quality pipe. The Align pipe is cheap for a reason..

it was a 50 size muffler..while flying noticed the rubber hose exhaust pipe-extension shaking thought it was some vibration.. discovered the muffler was loose, guess the baffle broke inside during the shaking..

Thats why I asked, Lonewolf2440. I too had only heard of this in the 50 muffler but was about to order the 90 muffler so this was definiately of interest to me. Glad it stayed with only the 50 muffler.

Same thing happened to me, sent it in they fixed it and I now have around 30 flights with the fixed muffler and no problems yet.

The muffler bearings need replacing. It is a value-added feature.

from what I've heard (I have an Align pipe also) this only occured with the early 50 size pipes, this problem has been solved.

Nope, it obviously has not been solved. Every week there is another post about an Align pipe breaking baffles.

I've had my baffle go loose on my Align 50 muffler, replaced it with a Curtis Youngblood MP5SB muffler. LOL talking about loose baffles, my Outrage 90 muffler had it's baffle go out today and going to replace it with a Hatori muffler.
