rotorsport, yes, that's the one
If you get twice the economy with the stock one that's almost an hour?
Yes, that's what I have been reading.. 45 to an hour with stock engine.

online manual
The online manual list that as #HW6045A Thrust Bearing Spacer but you are taking about 15x18x0.2 THRUST BEARING SHIMS (2pcs)Part# HW6045B Does your manual that came with the kit lists it as an A or B on page 18?

WOW
well If that's true I want too see someone fly that long
I'm sure there are some that could, but OMG that's just too long.

I bought my Gasser because all my e helis have such short run times.

As I am now on my third gallon of fuel, I find myself thinking its been 30+ min in the air and I look at my timer and it says 12 maybe 13 min. I have managed to stay airborne for a little over 25 min at one time and just cant imagine 45 min +

I have not seen any 45min to 1hr run time statements but I guess anything is possible. I have to wonder if they are running a larger tank?
As I stated before I still think the modified motor is a better choice
even if it does use twice the fuel. It runs so much smother than any other stock Gasser i have ever seen run and vibrations are harmful in helis.

For what its worth, I got 49 mins on my 23cc Zenoah (ran her till she ran out). Maybe I could get more if the tank was stuffed full of fuel...trouble is it would vent like crazy.

I get 40 minute sessions all the time, unless the weather dictates otherwise...frozen fingers

What size tank? 49 min yer da man

I put 5 tanks through mine yesterday little over 2hr in the air total and I just cant imagine a single 49min flight. I would have to land and take a nap
Mind you I have been several years with electric at 3 - 6 min flight times so I guess as time passes with the new gasser I will want more than 20-25 min.

Stock size for the 23cc engined Predator, the power curve is nothing special.

When I first started out I had the power curve more in a line with half stick being 50 percent. I was getting 30 mins before thinking about landing and refueling. I like to have a good reserve

Stock size tank is just over 500 mls. I fill up till the vent overfills slightly. That will get me the 49mins. I do fly up to 45mins if the weather is kind to my fingers.

The flying I do is not 3D type, more in the line of yanking and banking and lots of low slow approaches with messing about trying to do moving piros

Quality takes........time!

500ml is about 17oz (16.907345623)
I just tried to get a long sport flight with mine but my fingers got tingly at 35min. I started with 16oz and had at least 2oz left when I had to land. I guess if you take it easy you can get some long flight times even on a 3D Max 260puh. I was so board though my fingers fell asleep
My flying style is best described fast erratic sloppy 3D with poor collective management and when you can slam a big heavy bird like this around for 20+ min its a good thing and it does seem that if your into sport flying 30-45+ min are possible on 16-17oz of fuel.

I need to go take my nap now

Ok, I found another 3x7x3 bearing for the other bell crank at the LHS. I put them on and if I tighten then up, they are stiff. Is this normal Or do you just tighten them up a small amount?

No, should be loose. Check the bolts are ok and are not squeezing the bearings in any way.

The fuel thing? yeah after 45 mins I am ready for a break! Its good though, I like to head up for a session before heading to work though that option is shrinking due to our heading to winter if its cold I only fly about for 15 to 20 mins and thats enough.

Unless they changed it, the mainshaft dia is 10mm.

Make sure you have the spacers installed between the bell crank bearings. You should be able to tighten the bolts without any binding.

The spacers are in there, as per manual, and if you tighten the bolts, the bell cranks are very tight. Is there supposed to be a washer on the bolt as well?

You might have to add a shim inside then. Mine are very tight with no binding and yes, I do have a shim under the bold head as well as against the frame.

I just had to try one out and is why I ordered one. I had to look around quite a bit, as they are sold out most everywhere online.
