LOL... I have spooled up my TRex 450 in the house, but I have never been brave enough to lift off, just get her light on the skids to check for bent shafts etc. after repairs.

You are a brave man!!!

That's why I'm looking for a couch flyer, I've flown the 450 in the house before, that is until I tried inverted hover, I was fine but then I almost crashed through the TV and then one of the windows. I finally hit throttle hold and crashed into the couch. The heli won the battle, the leather sofa got a little scratched up. Lucky it didn't cut through but that's the last time I fly the 450 inverted inside.

I'd like to see the video of someone flying the 500 inside the house, that's crazy!

I'm thinking maybe I'll try out the MCX, it sounds like with a couple mods that thing might be fun for a while.

We have a college gym we fly in during the winter. Normally little fomies and 400 size helis is all that flys.

One of the guys flew around a TRex 500, I was nervous and that was in a large Gym... I can't imagine trying that in a house.

I only hovered in place for about ten seconds and then between the turbulance building up the dollar signs flashing before my eyes I put down.

I have hovered several 400 size helis in the living room with only one incident.A blade was cracked inside the grip and I didn't know until that blade came off and made a mess of the room.

I have a Blade MCX myself.I turned the elev servo arm out four turns longer and that really made it fast.I zip all over the house.I keep it interesting by doing stuff like landing and taking off in an empty laundry hamper.I have landed on the tip of the ceiling fan blade(turned off of course, lol).

I even bought a Hughs MD500 fuselage for it.It's a fun heli.Enjoy

The buzzflyer is amazingly stable for its size and is virtually indistructable! And its 2.4G! The tail actually holds pretty well and the piro rate is crazy at full stick! I have actually looped one of these outside!

60% of the time, it works every time!

I like the MCX, it is fun and great for precision flying (safely) in your living room. The wife doesn't like the cool draft when I do a fly over.
