People were having issues with the gyro, but came to find out there is a hidden pot under the sticker on the gyro. Once this is tweaked I have heard good things. I just bought the RTF version myself but have not set up all the trims on the radio to my likeing yet. Out of the box this is a very nice looking 400 heli. I will post more once I get it in the air.

Maiden Flight of RR Axe 400
Just took my RR 400 for a maiden flight on Saturday. The nose was pulling left and I couldn't seem to trim it out with the gain, or trim setting.I didn't get a chance to try the sub trims. I'll look under the sticker for the pot, thanks for that tip. Also the tail shaft was not perfectly horizontal, and once I straightened that out(after discovering it) the tail behaved much less squirrelly(is that a word?) but still pulling right. Also had to use a higher throttle curve setting than my T-Rex. 75% throttle at half stick seemed to work for me.

i got my axe 400 a week ago, the only trouble i had at first was the gyro , i have it locked in right now but i dont trust it , the 400 is easy to fly and has plenty of pep , flips easy and is steady inverted ,,its a little hard to see so i changed the colors on the canopy ,it was blending with the back ground . i changed out the blades and the tail servo also , i have the blade 400 ,hobby lobbys typhoon , and the axe 400 , after full flight and setup evaluation i find the axe 400 wins as far as value and performance .

I am unstable and have no safe mode

Make sure you do not fly it without the canopy, it is quick and if you get it very far away it is easy to loose orenitation. It is my first electric bird, but I think it flys good and the price is not bad.

Also max out the servo endpoints in the radio or it has slow climbs.

The gyro does not center unless you mess with the sub-trims in the radio. I have never pulled the sticker but I may after I get it back together again. I tried to flip inverted too close the ground last time.
