My Caliber 4 and Funkey A109 had their maiden this week-end. Here are some pics...

Very nice. How easy/difficult was the installation?

Installation was almost straightforward. The fuse is a .50 size. I used the Cal5 taiboom and even this was a little too short for the fuse. Due to the position of the nuts and bolts on the Caliber tailcase, I had to cut out quite a bit of the fuse at the tail, as you can see in the pictures. Furthermore I used a Century scale muffler as the standard Kyosho muffler or my Hatori wouldn't fit.

But other than that, it flies really well.
Only thing I still have to solve is that the engine (OS37) is getting pretty warm. I am thinking of installing an extra electric fan to extract more air.

David.

Just wondering if you had any more comments on your scale ship. Is it still flying well? Did you solve the OS .37 heating problem. Would you happen to have any install pics?

Still flying strong.

The heat problem is still present but is a bit less. I made the bottom opening a little bigger and this seems to just keep it within limits...
