I read that she requested one. This sounds stupid though. I got one for my girlfriend for X-mas but I couldn't imagine giving the Queen of England one though. It's not like she couldn't send someone out and get one any time she wanted. I thought these gifts were supposed to be meaningful. Ya know like the bust of Churchill Obama RETURNED to England.

She actually, already had one. Obama is a tasteless, thoughtless leech. An iPod is a ift for a fifteen year old niece, or son, or something, not a king or queen. I guess the bright side is it is region free, at least it will work in England.

Aparently she had an older one that wasn't capable of video and he gave her a video one with videos of when she came to America. Lame gift for a Queen though. I can see the Apple ads now: Ipod the gift fit for a Queen

Much is being made of Michelle Obama and Queen Elizabeth's embrace. As the First Lady and Queen chatted at the G-20 reception on Wednesday night, the Queen touched her hand to Michelle Obama's back, and the gesture was then returned. Royal etiquette dictates that the Queen not be touched unless she reaches out first. Patting the Queen's back, however, is almost unprecedented behavior in Buckingham Palace.
Apparently Mr. Hussein Obama isn't the only one that doesn't know how to act in public. Of course, I guess when you're an elitist snob thinking royal dignitaries are just like old buddies comes with the territory. Next time just give her a pound dawg.

sorry dude, that's just bs. I am all for showing respect, but this isn't the 1500's John. The whole "royalty" thing is bs.

Not to the Brits, they take the Queen Mum thing seriously. I'm not saying I agree, but to them its a big deal.

I give up on Loctite, nothing lasts long enough to vibrate loose anymore.

Like Rcsoar4fun said, not to the brits. I know the left doesn't like tradition, but some countries realize that traditions and customs help to perserve a culture.
