I have two JR Vibe 90s and they both run really well since two years on hundreds of flights. I don't want to say its a problem free helicopter but its very easy to maintanence and has low parts count.

I have -12,+12 degrees of pitch with Curtis 710 Radix SBs and Super Stubz and the thing flies unbelievable. It feels very light in the air and flys really fast on forward flight. By the way, I like the front mounted tank design, servo layout, 140 degree CCPM, painted canopy, adjustable clutch bell-main gear-tail drive system, JR ball links and so on...

And when I read the problems that people have with their 700Ns in here and other forums (gear stripping, ball link and swashplate bearing dust cover coming off in flight, clutch bell breaking, etc. etc.) my addiction to my Vibe 90s is getting more and more.

Also, don't forget that two years ago there were many 3D pilots who got good results on competitions with this heli, including Lukas Riva. I believe that its just the sponsorship which makes low quality products popular in these days...

Finally, the only issue that bothers me is the high price tag on the spare parts.

I wish you crash free flights with your new heli...

how is the support with the vibe 90? It seems like I dont really seem much discussion about it on here or on heli freak. Does anyone know anyone running a flybarless setup on it?

Support is great via horizon hobby. There is a member here on RR that has helped me greatly with various issues. I would say he's an expert on the vibe 90. If do some searches you will find him.

The current HeliProz price certainly is attractive.

certainly, I just want to make sure I have the group support if I run into a problem with it. The 700 there is a lot of them around so there is a lot of experienced people.

Thanks Dynamite. I start building this weekend. Still haven't decided yet which engine to install. I'm kind of leaning toward the YS 91 SR with a Hatori SB-19 muffler. What engine are you running in your Vibes? I'm looking at selling my Vigor CS if you know anyone interested. Thanks for your advice.
