The new Thunder Tiger UH-1Y has landed, but with a UK£500 price tag?
Is this an example of a Thunder Tiger rip off, seems to me it is.
How much is it going for State side?

I have looked all over the place and can't find it in the US. A couple of international sites, but if that price stands, I think it is close to $750!!!

I would agree that the price is steep, but don't forget that this fuselage comes with an adapter to lower the belt drive, and the adapter for the raised tail. These pieces separately would be several hundred dollars...

It also has more detail/parts, and looks like a semi scale cockpit also. That can dirve the price up too.

Looks like TT has the license for using the bell name ! That could explain why it is priced in that range.

Would the TT E620 fit into this fuselage without any modifications?

Good question... I don't think this fuselage is even available yet, so we probably won't know until someone can actually get one in hand...

Please post plenty of pics during the build! A 620 and that fuse would be the end all for me. Looks great, how is the quality?

Coyote 13,

I downloaded the assembly manual and can not see any place for the long stick battery to fit under the frame! It would probably have to be a square one mounted up front where they say to mount the receiver battey! What do you think?

Ace and TT4U both have them as of a few days ago, TT4U is slightly cheaper at $699. I think I'm going to hold off a little longer until the build and flying pics start coming in. It looks kind of small next to the AS355- more 30 sized than 50?

the size does look more like a 30 size, wow, $700 is a little on the high side for a TT fuselage.

To be fair, the AS355 fuse is pretty big/long to get the Titan to fit, but I was expecting the UH1Y to be about the same width and length up to the point the tail sweeps up. All by itself it will probably look big enough.
