I assume the 3D still uses those plastic servo nuts. Has anyone tried to find/use the metal nut inserts like the Aurora? That seems like the way to go if possible. I've CA'd the pplastic nuts in the past but there is always 1 or 2 in the hard to reach areas that comes off when removing a servo.

I just use a long pair of hemostats to install and remove them. Not a problem.

The government cannot give you anything without first taking it from someone else.

ditto... i also switched to the hex screws for the servos, just personal preference

I used some JR servo mounting plate's on one of mine. I think it's a great setup I've just been to lazy or keep forgeting to order more for the rest of the fleet...

I think it's more lazyness since I don't want to change them all out especially since what's in their now is working out. Maybe on the next rebuild I'll replace them.
