If you guys are ever out on Long Island look me up. We may be able to squeeze in a maintenance flight where I will need some assistance.

Used to live in Commack, worked in Hauppauge, Hicksville, Melville, Shoreham, Brooklyn... Would have jumped at the chance. In Mcgarther airport?

Anyway, Nice heli, nice place, and gracious offer.

Yes. Sat in the sun all day and squirted out the weep hole when the brake was applied. I got to clean up the mess now.

I get that too, fortunately we use roll coin flooring, wipes right up.

Hahahah, we just cooked up some Sausage and Peppas on the grill, sat down to eat and my guys got a Medevac call. LoL, sucks for them!

ahhh, 85LF, not 55LF, that would be a Learjet

Fixed wings are gay.

LOL

Spoken like a true helicopter mechanic. We use Aero-Mat where Dumb and Dumber sit so it wipes off as well, but its under the scuff plate so I have to remove that schit too.

Running 50 hrs a month with my new bird SWEEET!!!

Lets open our "Rules of a Crew Chief" Hand book to page 1952, 9TH paragraph middle of page, and please follow along.

The "Helicopter Crew Chief", may refer to the Pilot and Co-Pilot of his helicopter, in any manor he deems fit. The pilot and co-pilot will walk 3 steps behind at all times, and listen tentatively when the Crew Chief speaks. He will not interrupt until the Chief has given the nod for him to speak. The pilot will humble himself and beg for forgiveness when the helicopter is returned broken and or a system is disabled for any reason.

Lets skip to page 2763 19Th paragraph bottom of page,

The Crew Chief will defend his pilot and co-pilot as if he were a hungry wild animal fending for his meal. The crew Chief will drag the pilot from the swill of the restroom, and or other, where he has passed out on the floor, to ensure he is not pummeled down buy some jealous husband in his drunken stoop-er, and will take the hit for his pilot. He will ensure the pilot is in a safe place and tucked away for the best nights sleep possible considering the evenings circumstances.

If you follow these simple rules, there will be no doubt, as to what kind of Crew Chief you really are.
