why I climed at 4th gear ?I use engine at maximum torque not horse power this let me at minimum heat because heat come from loading engine and if engine fail at maximum torque output this mean I have to buy new engine or change gear ratio and this of course will reduce Head RPM and this lead to much pitch angle so reduce weight ...

look I try to pull at full pitch angle (11deg) for 5 second to see the engine performance and it is good no any type of loosing power at all .

They don't have time to do it in most cases... It takes time to burn 2 gallons or more...

The engine modifiers could probably bolt on a prop shaft adapter and run the motors with a propeller for a few hours in their backyard to break them in--if you were willing to pay the extra price for this service.

Personally, I would rather not mount an unbroken-in engine in my helicopter. It would be better to mount the engine to a board with a 16x10 propeller and let it run for a few gallons until it was smooth. However, I have heard that once you put a Zenoah prop shaft adapter on one of these engines, it is almost impossible to remove. Maybe there is a special tool to get them off, but I have not found one yet. The prop shaft adapter is only about $50 or $60 US dollars, and the cost of my electronics and frame getting destroyed by a rough running engine breaking in while my helicopter idles on the ground would easily justify the cost of the prop shaft adapter.

Has anyone done something like this? Does anyone have a good reason not to do something like this?

I don't think I can help you..I would put the needles back where they were when it was running good..If it still stays screwed up, then look at your ring to see if its stuck again...

I put setting as engine manual so it come back smooth low 1 1/4 and high 1 7/8 .

My first ring stuck was from clutch liner come in side fan house and i didn't now so when I replace clutch liner and run engine at second tank not broken in yet so no enough air to cool it so it stuck

second time my throttle wire loos and I became not control engine only pitch so I decide to load engine at hover at low RPM so it stuck again and I don't no real reason from not cool in low RPM or overload engine .

SO thanks

Sure there is a way to take the prop hub off.. You just screw the center bolt into the crank, making sure you leave it positioned just above the hub, then put a gear puller on, to work against the bolt..
I would heat the hub, since its aluminum to help ease it off

SASA,
Since you are flying a setup that is geared way to high for the size blades, I can't help you unless I was there to see the heli reaction, and doubt if I could help then without making changes...

The only thing I can advice you on is watch the temp, and the plug color, and hope it runs smooth..
Good luck

Bill large blade needs more torque and there is tow way to get that :
1.let your engine at maximum torque and in my case 9000RPM.
2.increase your gear ratio like to be 7 or 8 and you are ok.

I use option 1 and I watched engine temperature it was fine in my country climate like 43C. and also in full throttle +12 pitch at 1500RPM engine never loose power this mean positive signal .

I will try to post video near so I can get your comment
.

thanks

SASA, I have done it, and seen people do it, but only a few understand on how to do it, it just very hard to tell you how over the keyboard...That is the reason I tell you to watch those perimeters..

I do want to see the video... I like folks who think outside the box
