Been slowly buliding my Rave - so far very impressed. I have come to the linkages from the swash servos to the swash - when i look at them the aux and aeil links do not seem to have a verticle shot at the swash - they angle down and forward?

Is this usual as on the many other helis I have built all three run directly up?

Thanks

If you are reffering to the pushrods to the servos being tilted slightly forward when the horns are at 90 degrees you are correct, this is normal. As the servos throw in either direction the pushrods actually straighten out on either end of the throw, as opposed to only being straight when at 90 degrees. If they are straight at 90 degrees the control ball on the servo will actually be behind the ball on the swashplate when at the expremes of its throws, meaning the servos will run out of throw at extemes very quickly. I hope this makes sense.

Build it, fly it, crash it. Repeat as often as needed.

Thanks for the clarification - it makes sense now you mention it, just never noticed it on my other helis.

Cheers
