Very sorry for your loss, I hope you get compensated some how...A few words for that loser James Moore, "YOU ARE A COWARD PIECE OF $HIT THAT DON'T DESERVE THE PRIVILEGE OF WALKING THIS EARTH, WHAT YOU'RE NOT MAN ENOUGH TO GO TO WORK AND PROVIDE FOR YOUR FAMILY, BET YOU DON'T HAVE MUCH OF A FAMILY ANYWAYS"

Fraud - Risk
This is one of the reasons that used prices will never be even close to "new" prices. Too many unethical people out there.

suggestion is to contact the United States Postal Service regarding interstate mail fraud. Along with that, never do a transaction without a credit card or a postal money order.

You can also call the local police (sheriff) and have them investigate the multiple thefts. Since this deals with so many people and the transactions have crossed state lines, he is possibly treading on a federal offense with severe criminal penalties.

He is also likely to be tied up in identity theft, where theres ID theft there is often crack... It may be worth while to find an attorney on this site, get together all of the people who have been screwed and send him a letter from a law firm.

Another idea is to search all of the internet, try to find where he works (if he does) and go to his employer who if they have any ethics at all, will likely terminate him for lack of ethical practices.

I have been through this when I had a merchant account and an on-line business, it aint easy or fun.

After reading all of this....

Go to ussearch.com, pay about $30. and do a search/background check on him. If you have a correct name/state, it should pull up results for him. If the transactions are associated with the USPS, go to their website and report him as fraud. lastly, go to the internet crime reporting site and list him there.
You can also "bait" this guy into a transaction. Get his personal info and set it up with the internet trade commission. If you have used Paypal, use them to your benifit. If you used a credit card, call them and report the transaction as fraud.
Use the interent to your benefit, do searches. All this cost money so it's up to you how you want to go about. ussearch results are the best I've encountered for finding someone, and it is your best option for tracking him down.
If you sent him cash...your screwed, write it off as a experience and never do it again. Don't waste your money or time retaining a attorney, they cost to much!!!Ha,Ha
It's just a matter of time before all this catches up with him. Remember this...if there is no paper trail, you barely have a chance in getting any results.

agree with track... he has a great suggestion... can also set this up with the local sheriff, much like you see with underage sexual predators. can also call a local cable news channel who often times dont have any real news to report on. they may want to expand their horizons and help you with the sting, publish on local news.

However there may be a young, hungry, heli flyin attorney on this site that can help do all of that.. Mine is just a suggestion, I am so damn paranoid these days doing anything over the internet, it sucks that these are the situations that cause such justified paranoia.

There seems to be allot of information (address, name, phone number, etc...) so it should be simple to trace allot of his personal and professional information.

This is a big pain in the arse, he will get caught but not until someone takes the additional steps.

One more item...

If he is useing his own computer and internet provider, he has a unique IP address that links directly to his computer. Nearly every website logs this address. Check it out here with runryder, they may be able to help you in obtaining his IP address.

Regardless, YOU as the seller ARE responsible for him getting the package. IF YOU did NOT get insurance YOU owe him a refund as he did NOT recieve the package you sent. Even if you didnt get insurance and I know your a cheap A$$ the USPS insures up to $100, BUT YOU AS THE SHIPPER ARE THE ONLY ONE THAT CAN MAKE A CLAIM. SO SEND HIM THE MONEY AND MAKE A CLAIM FOR REIMBURSMENT. UNTIL THEN STAY OFF THIS SITE AND QUIT SELLING STUFF YOU CANT DELIVER.

YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS. MAKE IT RIGHT!! AND QUIT SCAMMING GOOD PEOPLE

I just can not believe the gall you have Trex, you disgust me. TO come back here, with all these accusations against you, and act like everyone of them is the other guys fault. Maybe once it could be, but NOT all of them. MAKE IT RIGHT and leave this community.

IT IS AUTOMATICALLY INSURED UP TO $100 FROM THE POST OFFICE BUT ONLY YOU AS THE SHIPPER CAN MAKE THE CLAIM. THE BUYER DOES NOT NEED TO REQUEST IT. ITS UP TO YOU TO MAKE SURE HE GETS IT. PAY HIM HIS MONEY AND WAIT FOR USPS TO REFUND YOU. MAKE IT RIGHT!!!

what part of this do you not understand??

And for you to call me a "retard" , WOW you got balls. Dude LEAVE the community please, we dont need your kind around.
