Was gusting 10-15mph today but still flew my 250 and took the 450 along for it's first field test. No camera person, but I set the camera on the tripod again.

At least you can hear how it sounds. The wind was blowing me all over the place so didn't really try much. Gyro seems to be working fine. I haven't even touched the gain since I set it before I even flew it. (70% in fut gyro menu) I did notice the tiniest wag but with winds like that I'm surprised it wasn't jittering all over the place. I could have cut it down with my gain switch but it was barely noticeable.

Cyclic is so snappy on this heli, it might be the first heli I've ever wanted to use expo on. Or maybe I'll just move the cyclic link balls in a hole. swash menu looks like:
ail: 50
ele: 50
pitch: 37

I could probably improve that some.

Not bad! Didn't do much with it but feels plenty powerful. I was being conservative. Don't want to wreck it before I can fix it.

Wow,great!
You are the pioneer and looks rich (just joking)
I already have SE. I really interested in this new machine and consider changing my SE.
Is it really improved compared to the SE and worth to change my SE now ? I hope your precious opinion.

No reason to ditch or get rid of your old SE or SEV2.
But this heli is an improvement.
I would keep flying what you have now and save up for the V3 on the side.
It's a good deal since all of the included components seem to work at a rock bottom price for the performance you get.

BTW,
ESC temp was 115*-120*F after that short flight mounted under the battery tray. Forgot to measure the motor and batt temp.
Not a very taxing flight though and not a full battery.
I think it might go for 4 minutes like that.

SOMEONE GET ME A TENNIS RACKET
cause there's a giant bee buzzing around

haha great vid and nice flying. Sounds great.

I like how it moves in and out of the camera during those rainbows it gives it a bit of comic effect.

Now I will need to get one for travelling

I only crash due to random planetary intervention

Nice flight Casey!! Mine seems to be on the hot side when done flying. Do you think a heat sink on the motor would fit? I ran one on my SE.

wrench, crash, wrench, crash, wrench, crash, etc.
