The winter is over, days are longer.
But I'm afraid we just entered the windy & rainy season.

I've got 1 heli fueled up, batteries charged and READY TO GO.
The very minute the sun starts shining, I'm headed out the door.

I burned 1.5 or so gallons last weekend.

Then this Saturday it snowed. So this weekend was shot.

This coming Saturday is looking promising though.

Mikado Logo 400, hopefully ready by spring.

Well up here in Canada if you don't want to fly when in snows then your season only lasts 7 or 8 months, therefore we have to fly during winter...who can stop flying for 4 to 5 months?

Team Synergy, Rail blades, Team Scorpion, V-Team

Gotta love it.....snow, wind, rain....it's all heli's. The really cool part about 'season,' is that most of us really 'want' to fly, but are stuck working, building, or in my case 'looking'.....for work.

I need to see some more pictures of those helis mharpo!!

I can't wait for warm sunny weather however March wasn't too bad. I got 46 flights recorded this month. Which is really good for me.

Last year I've flown in the single digit temps, even a few days below zero.

You'll know it's cold when you're flying a nitro heli in the dead of winter and the oil coming out of your pipe turns to a gel as soon as it's exposed to air.

Before you know it, you've got what resembles a pink frozen snot hanging several inches down from the outlet of your muffler.

And once your tank is empty, I dare you to refuel your helicopter.
Get just one drop of fuel on your fingers, you might as well call it a day. Thats instant numbness right there on fingers you could barely feel in the first place.

Not this winter. Thats why I'm so anxious to go.
