How do you guys attach your starter shaft to your starter without using the cone? I took the cone off my torquemaster 90 starter and couldnt really see a way to do it.

Depends on the shaft. Maybe you need to put the cone back on

You need to buy a starter shaft that attaches directly onto the shaft, like the Sullivan S613 Helicopter Extension. http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXCLY8 You can find them cheaper like here. http://www.readyheli.com/S613_Sulli..._p/sulp1613.htm

Take Care,
Cheers, Patrick

I use the Century wand.

It clamps onto the starter, includes a one-way, works just as good and costs half as much as the Sullivan.

Or if you want to go cheap and have no need for a 1-way (if your helicopter has one built in) then this is a good bolt-on option
