On my Radio the throttle stick movement seems restricted, at bottom and top stick. i.e around 5% less movement than the cyclic stick. i still have +/- 12deg of pitch although it does seem strange.
Any one eleses do the same if so is this right?

Thats right, theres stops in there.

They can be removed but the stick needs recalibrated.

Some folks, mainly the hard core 3d guys, prefer more movement with less stick throw. Makes things like tic tocs and piro flips require very litttle movement around center. I'm not advocating if its a good idea or not, just laying out the theory.

I Got my new 12 last week and had not noticed the differance, just took it out of the box and looked at it and ther is a marked differance between the left and right stick travel. BUT i have not noticed any differance in the "feel" when flying with it.

This is not a 3D thing, it has been the case on all 10 series radio since they first began.
It was known as a Helicopter style colective movement (clipped at top and bottom).

I didn't like this at first, but after flying it for a while and then going to another radio that doesn't have the stops on the top and bottom of the throttle, I find the JR setup is more convenient.
