Reading all of the posts here tells you that its really up to the person and the time they have. I did my build over a couple days (just a couple hours at a time). I'm sure that I could have done it in a few hours all at once but chose not to. Its definitely not something you want to rush through. Take your time and do it right, don't set a time limit!

I consider myself a fast builder. I built my last 600NSP (1st flight in a little over 4 hours) I have built about 10 trex's over that last 6 or 7 years. The trex is very simple compaired to others (Older Miniture Aircraft, anyone remember the huge diagram?)

There is no way devious had one done and ready to fly in 2 hours! No way!

I agree with Zaaguy72

I've built a LOT of theme and NO WAY--not even the airframe only!

The whole point is it's up to the individual doing the build and no one should feel they have to finish a build in a certain time frame. The most important thing is to DO IT RIGHT Then it will fly right and you will be happy!

A good day flying is when you come home with everything in one piece

Well I don't remember the time it took me to build my 600 but me and a friend of mine built two 700's from Friday evening and flew them Sunday. It was my 4th and 5th 700 builds.

I think people can build a trex600 in an average of 2 hours. I don't however, believe that it is condusive to a quality job. I've seen it done several times before, but the average lifespan of the heli is about 2 to 5 flights before something fails. That's if they can manage a first without having to fix something first. Fun to watch as long as it's not your own heli.

I usually spend about 15hrs split between 2 days for the build, and and another 6 hours for setup, cross-checks and wire cleanup. I usually rest after the build before I start the setup so I am rested and don't miss anything. Some of that time is spent looking for tools and fussing with stubborn parts though
