just fitting a new switch glow to me heli flicked the switch started all fine
next tank flick the switch hear the tone yet no start tried and tried changed glow plug still nothing yet put manual glow stick on it and started no props
does the switch glow still make a tone if it dont glow? could it be the earth? any one else had probs please help

Had the same problem with one of mine. It would emit the tone but would not heat sufficiently. Sent mine back and they replaced it no questions asked. They're service was fantastic.

Test it
You could put a meter on the output and measure the voltage. No question about it if the voltage is low.

Yeh mine did that as well i was trying to run it from a 4.8v rx bat so changed to a 2 cell lipo direct, and now it's all good. Just throw some more volts at it. You may have the higher volt version.

It worked first time cause the batt was fully charged which is usually about 6volts on a 4.8v batt at full charge. I went though all this it drove me nuts to.

thanks for all your replys will look into the volts etc
as for low input am running a lipo reg down to 6v so input should be fine

what volts should i see at the plug end any one help with this?

Plug should take 1.2 volts to glow properly.
