Just wondering, using a 12s powersytem.. is this enough.. I know we arn't pulling the same amps as flying 3D or whatnot..

you guys think batteries in this discharge range are ok?
would be for a stretched Trex600:700

just want to make sure..

assuming a 5,000 mah pack, that's 75 amp continuous, 125 amp burst. At 12s you're talking over 3.2kw. More than enough.

However my experience with lower C packs is they don't hold voltage as well under load. Your 12s 15c packs may put out maybe 2 volts less than a quality premium 30C pack after the first couple minutes of flight.

I've flown two pairs 5,000mah 6s TrueRC packs in a 12s configuration for about the past 9 months. They seem to be holding up well while flying about 7 pounds on the 700.

I haven't checked in flight voltage, but there's plenty of power for my needs thus far, even with poor collective management and the occasional "oh ****".

Still running 3 year old 10C packs on my Joker 2 & they're still giving plenty of flight time - 15mins plus. No doubt newer packs would have more punch but I've had no problems pulling out of fast descents. Higher burst capacity might be more of an issue if you're very heavily loaded - I'm not.

15C constant? if the rating is honest it's more than enough for AP.
I fly a 12S 4000mAh 10C pack, I don't AP with this bird but 3D which is even more demanding and it just do the job fine. 12S system are efficient so it help.
