Very easy actually. If you're still using the stock cooling system like me it's a walk in the park. The bracket simply bolts on with the motor's bolts, so you put the bracket inbetween the bolt and the motor.

Then you drill a small hole the size of the magnet (Usually 4mm) in the fan. Just be sure to check where the magnet needs to be in the fan according to the instructions of the governer. You might first need to get the sensor mounted to the bracket and the bracket mounted so you can properly mark the position of the magnet.

Epoxy the magnet into the fan nicely and viola.

Let me know if I can help any further.

Thanks Spacey, yeah I just got so used to the Vibe 50 and other newer helis with sensor brackets. I will use the traditional method of mounting the sensor on the engine mount.
Problem is also that I have the K&S upgraded (golden) aluminium fan which has no magnet holes. I'll drill one on one side.

I've never flown my Venture 90 (been standing around for almost 2 years), how is it flying? I'm really looking forward to this machine - it's still an awesome piece - JR quality all the way!

You can also take the Spektrum AR 7100 Sensor, it is mounted directly under the engine, on the other side of the crankshaft...

Hookmaker: The bigger supplied bracket with the revlock will do the part perfectly for what you need. I have my Revlock on mine mounted with it, no problems. Also easy to quickly drill the hole in that fan of yours, no worries.

The Venture is a great heli all the way, I use mine for a bit of everything to be honest. Sometimes it's a 3D machine and other times it's a test bench for new things we want to try on the Sylphides in F3C scenarios. Heck sometimes it's my F3C competition bird if a new mod works well. Hehehe. Great heli, very reliable, absolute pleasure to fly.
